[Hetalia] Singapore's Remembrance of England

A Fan-made Fanfiction

PART ONE

"And explain why we're here right now?" England asked France irritably. The countries were having a break from all that paperwork and had went on the trip together, but the first place France dragged them to was a freaking casino.

France smirked at England's pissed face. "Angleterre, it has been a long time since any of us has gone gambling, has it not?"

"Where is this casino anyway?" England muttered to himself. Apparently it was rather new, even if it was one of the most successful by now. They entered the casino and were met with polite ushers and usherettes. "Bet France isn't very happy that she takes so much care in hiring the 'correct' type of workers," Denmark whispered to Norway.

"Shut up, not like you're allowed to smoke here either," Norway whispered back harshly. 'She', huh? So it must be a female nation then? England counted off Hungary, Liechtenstein, Belarus, Ukraine, Belgium, Vietnam, Taiwan, Seychelles. Can't be any of these, either too underdeveloped or they just don't seem the type.

As they took a seat at one of the roulette tables, the game progressed quickly and England forgot about the mysterious identity of the nation as he pissed off at America and France.

... ... ...

She washed her face at the sink. Too long hours working, but she knew she could handle it. She'd handled worst than that before, after all...

"Good work all of you. continue working hard," she smiled encouragingly at her people. Truthfully she wasn't really supposed to be working there since she was the nation, but she wanted to make sure everything was fine.

The moment she stepped out of the rest quarters for the workers, her personality changed. A calm and polite female carefully served drinks, slyly responding to the moves of some of the stupider people who didn't know who they were messing with. She just had the ability to change her character to suit the occasion nowadays.

As she surveyed the casino to make sure that everything was working out smoothly, she noticed in annoyance that one table was particularly noisy. She recognized one of the people there as Italy, since he was currently eating pasta. That must be the table with the nations who were coming today, she mused.

Wait, eating pasta? She jumped. No one was allowed to eat in the casino! She made her way over to the table, controlling her anger, since she was supposed to be the perfect role models of ushers at the current moment.

... ... ...

Feliciano chomped on his pasta happily. "Can't you do anything other than eat pasta, Feliciano?" Romano asked his brother angrily. Germany facepalmed as Japan sat there awkwardly. After all, Japan wasn't really one to gamble.

"Excuse me, sir. Would you mind putting down that plate of pasta?" A quiet but firm voice came. Feliciano looked up to see a rather polite and calm usherette speaking to him.

"Eh? But I mind," Feliciano replied stupidly. Romano facepalmed this time.

The usherette cleared her throat. "I apologize for not being clear. Kindly do not eat in the casino since it is against the rules. If you do not comply I will be forced to take measures against you. If you wish to eat, please go outside and eat before coming back into here."

France wolf-whistled. Romano gazed at her in awe. "Ve? Okay then!" Feliciano left the room, bringing his pasta with him.

The female looked around the table with slightly calculative eyes as everyone stared silently at her. When she met England's gaze, her eyes widened slightly, but she quickly recovered.

"I apologize for interrupting your game. Please continue. Do not hesitate to call any of us should you require assistance, though the workers are obliged to report anything unusual you might ask of them," she emphasized, looking at France while she said so.

France didn't take the hint, instead smiling at her seductively. If she was attracted or repelled, she didn't show it. Instead, she bowed curtly and walked away. "That was a pleasant lady, oui? Although she seems a bit young to be in here," France commented.

About who knows how long later.

"That was the most awesome game ever!" Prussia yelled, not bothering to keep his volume down. Apparently he hasn't noticed that he's not supposed to be alive anymore either. England didn't say anything, too lost in thought to even drink the tea that stood there for him already.

"We're going to meet the nation who made this wonderful casino now, da?" Russia said happily. Happily because underage people/nations were not allowed and the age limit was 21. Belarus was 19. Well actually lots of countries were underage, but somehow they got smuggled in.

They all nodded in agreement. And maybe if they got on good terms with the nation, she'd give them a discount when they went to play in the other parts of her land. If possible she could get her big brother to give a discount too.

The countries waited in a rather elegant room in the Parliament House for the host nation to arrive. "Quite impolite of her to make us wait, don't you think?" Spain said cheerily. The other countries all ignored him.

Just then, an usherette ran into the room, gaining the attention of everyone. "I'm so sorry, I was busy," she panted as she leaned against the doorframe. Everyone was quite surprised as to the presence of an usherette. "Who're you and why are you here?" Germany asked very bluntly.

The youthful female blinked, before looking down at her clothes. "Ah, I forgot to change." She ran out again, before coming back in a black skirt with a yellow tank top with straps. Then she sat down, sweating slightly due to the heat.

"So... You're the host nation aru?" China asked.

She blinked at him. "Who else would I be?" That sent everyone into an uproar.

"But you were wearing usherette's clothes!"

"I envy your youth."

"What kind of nation dresses so simply, heck?" No one noticed as France slipped out of the room quietly.

She rolled her eyes. "In case you didn't know, we'd die of heatstroke if we dressed like you everyday. In fact, the temperature now is about 32 degrees Celsius now, you realize? Oh right, this room is air-conditioned."

Russia smiled. "Wow, what a wonderfully warm temperature, da? It's always so cold in my country... What's your name again?" She sighed.

She leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms. "My name is Singapore," she said casually.

England slammed down the cupful of tea that had been prepared for him beforehand and stood up. His pupils were a bit dilated as he sweated profusely, staring at Singapore. She made no response except to flick her black hair, tied in a loose ponytail, backwards.

He slowly sat back in his chair as everyone stared. "Sorry," he muttered. "Continue."

Just then, there was a loud sound, like an explosion, from outside. Singapore jumped up. "Think someone's trying to invade me again! Sorry, just hang on a while." She immediately left, throwing the room into silence.

"... Let's go watch or something." "Agreed." They all ran out of the door to see the commotion.

PART TWO

France was standing, oh so high and mighty, in the direction opposite from the Parliament House. And facing him was a rather pissed Singapore. "Pervert, haven't you anything better to do than try to get girls?" France smirked. "A pretty young girl like you should just be mine. Besides it's probably not that hard to take over your land."

Singapore gritted her teeth and called her army to her aid. "No use fighting, your army's insanely small, I can finish them easily," France called out to Singapore, who had somehow managed to change into a green military uniform, quite similar to England's temperate/tropical military uniform. "Besides, what are you doing wearing such an ugly uniform anyway?"

"Don't look down on me," Singapore said quietly, dangerously. "Even if I'm quite weak, my people are strong." With that, she looked France straight in the eye. "I think you forgot that even if my army's small, but practically all men have gone through training. Oh, and I forgot to mention, some women."

(Meanwhile, in Jurong.)

A forty-year-old man threw his spatula at the invading French. His little daughter took the opportunity to attack the Frenchman directly in the face.

"No, my beautiful face!" He cried, stumbling back. "How do you even know how to attack anyway?" The little girl shrugged. "My parents send me for karate classes. About all parents do that," she answered before knocking him out.

The lack of freedom to use guns in Singapore had probably gotten to the people's heads. They were creative enough to use woks, knives, pens and laksa to attack the invaders now.

(Back to Parliament House.)

"I'm not letting you go without paying me for the hospital fees," Singapore replied calmly, before pulling out a HK-MP4-A3 and a .22 revolver. "Mademoiselle, you have been influenced by Switzerland," France sighed before pulling out his own gun. Yes he has a gun, using a sword in these days won't get him anywhere.

Singapore evaded nimbly with her light figure as she dodged all the bullets sent her way. She leapt down from the top of the Parliament House and ended in a kneeling position on the ground. Her rifle was poised perfectly as she quickly took aim and fired.

She left the rifle in continuous fire and held the trigger as she followed the running Frenchman. "Mademoiselle, I know I am very exquisite, but you do not need to be jealous!" France squealed as he ran as fast as he could.

"Shut up," Singapore said, before swapping to her .22 revolver, standing up and taking aim sideways. Switzerland would have been mightily proud, only he had no part in her life anyway. "Fine, I'll pay, I'll pay! Just stop and I'll leave!" France surrendered. Singapore ceased fire and France ran away immediately after throwing some jewels to Singapore's feet.

"Should we chase after him?" A sergeant asked Singapore formally.

"No, leave him. No point in chasing after him, he's already left anyway," Singapore answered, before heading back to change. During that whole exchange everyone was gaping at her. All except for England, who had a pained look on his usually angry face.

PART THREE

"Are you sure you don't need any treatment?" Hungary looked at the younger female in concern. Singapore shook her head, smiling. "I've suffered worse," she offered as her reply. "Why don't you go ahead and play in Sentosa or something? I'll get someone to escort you there," she offered. Everyone looked eager. "But why can't you do it yourself, da?" Russia asked.

"Got to clear up after you all messed up the room," she pointed out. But they insisted on her bringing them there so she compromised by sending them on a tour of the Parliament while she cleared up.

After a while she realized that England was still there, but just pursed her lips and ignored him as he observed her. It was when she was clearing up the tea that he spoke to her.

"You still remember that I like my tea made from Ceylon black tea leaves," England stated casually. Singapore made not much response, except to continue clearing. Then she answered, "If I didn't know after all those years, I'm a failure."

"So, how have you been?" England struggled for words.

"Pretty okay, Tony just got elected President and he's quite okay." There was a silence. England broke it.

"Do... You ever long for the old days?" Singapore twitched at the question.

"Once I remember what you did to me during World War II, I can't help but wish I'd never known you," Singapore said coldly. England fumbled for words. "We-Well, I'm sorry... I know you probably can't forgive me, but please?"

"I've already forgiven you. Why else would you be the one doing most economic business with me?"

England walked over to her, bent down and stared into her defiant black eyes. "Anyone can tell that you still don't really forgive me," he said quietly. Singapore pushed him away angrily and turned away.

"Duh, anyone can tell, of course lah!" Singapore snapped as England twitched at her usage of the improper "Singlish". Was she trying to spite him? "When Japan came, you fought, so I thought it was okay... But not even halfway into the battle, you left and abandoned me..."

Singapore trembled. "And then Japan kept torturing my people, especially the Chinese. And when we tried to help China, he killed them all."

"My people weren't even given enough food to eat," Singapore said as she paced around. "Not to mention they got beaten up everyday, even the children. And did you know," she said with burning eyes as she turned to face England, "that at least 50 000 people died? At least?"

"I-I tried! I told them to continue fighting for you till the very last man!"

England bit his lip as Singapore smiled bitterly. "They didn't listen to you did they? Incompetent fool, trying to push the blame?" England hung his head as he listened to her. It was all true.

He felt Singapore coming up to him, probably to slap him. Instead, her delicate hands touched his face, before she tiptoed and gently kissed his right cheek. England's eyes widened in shock as Singapore whispered softly into his ear, "This is for the time when I adored you to the point of admiration."

She turned abruptly and walked away, remembering to snatch up the teacup as she left. England stood there frozen, his hands still touching the spot where Singapore had kissed him. It was exactly the same as where she used to kiss him before the war.

It would probably be the last time she kissed him.

EPILOGUE

Singapore stopped in the middle of an isolated corridor, still recovering from suddenly flouncing out like that. "It's... Been a long time, huh..." She whispered to herself.

She used to be a child who adored England so much, she'd done everything she could for him. Now she spent her days putting on masks: a calm usherette, a cheery nation, a ruthless fighter.

Always changing herself so that the child in her wouldn't come back and no one would ever be able to take advantage of her. So that she would never have to remember the pain of betrayal, never getting too close to anyone, not even Malaysia anymore.

She buried her face in her hands. "And now thanks to you, I can't tell who is me anymore..."

Fin.

I swear, the 50k people dying is correct as long as my sources are correct! ... Which they probably aren't. Thanks to England, Singapore suffers multiple-personality disorder or something now huh... Actually England/Singapore could make a straight pairing.

Hmm. I'll write in to Himaruya-san asking him to publish Singapore or something. And hint heavily to make her a girl. Luckily my Japanese isn't too bad, though it's very bad.

[Drawings] Singing Girl

Drew this during lunch, within the time I used to eat. Yay for being able to draw fast. I'm glad it didn't turn out too badly because I've never really drawn 3/4 faces and slightly slanted bodies like that.

I have no idea who's that. I was just going to draw a girl who was singing so that I could use it as the solo picture in my song videos. But looks kind of like Megurine Luka, don't you think?

Did a bit of shading. For the blemishes I used Paint to Control-C the background that was fine and then Control-V over the weird black spots. So it looks a bit better than the original. This is purely done by me, and is quite original other than when I covered up the blemishes with Paint. So there.

[Cover] Alice Human Sacrifice

So this was a cover that I uploaded using my account. I wanted a cool name for my account but because I always delete my accounts the moment I screw up on any of them, and YouTube doesn't allow you to reuse names, I ended up with AngelxFaye. I suppose it's okay since it's my typical style of names.

As you can see, it's a picture of Hetalia again, because it seemed quite appropriate. A comment said that blue looked like England, because I said I didn't know who blue was. The song is Alice Human Sacrifice by Vocaloids.

Songs

I'm planning to make a cover of "Carrot and Stick" by Belarus and Ukraine. Because I'm currently on the HetaCraze, though I'm sure it'll go away eventually.

Actually there's a whole bunch of songs that I made covers of, but I kept redoing them because they didn't seem good enough. So these are the songs I'm planning to try:

1. Chain Girl (Hatsune Miku)
2. Pub and Go (England, but I'm hoping not to)
3. Marukaite Chikyuu (Liechtenstein)
4. You and Beautiful World (Megurine Luka)
5. Just Be Friends (Megurine Luka)
6. Kokoro (Kagamine Rin)
7. Servant of Evil (Kagamine Len)
8. When The First Love Ends (Hatsune Miku)
9. Carrot and Stick (on priority because I asked people whether I should try or not)

I can actually memorize "You and Beautiful World", which is good for me, but there's about no other song I can memorize yet.

Clarification

Here's the second normal post I have. It's to clarify my blog name.

Firstly, remember that I was using Himaruya Hidekaz as my blogging role model? So when I was at a loss on what title, I decided to copy him a little. His blog is named "Bamboo Thicket", probably because he's a Japanese and in Hetalia, China found Japan in a bamboo thicket.

So since I live in Singapore and Singapore is in summer all year round, I named the blog Eternal Summer. After all, Eternal Summer sounds cooler than Summer All Year Round. Though that name's kind of cool too. But sadly "Eternal Summer" is quite a common name, which isn't exactly something I like, but it doesn't matter, it brings out my country not too bad.

[Hetalia] The Story of Lion City

A Fan-made Manga

[Start Transcript]
"Hetalia Extras: The Story of Lion City (A Fanmade Manga based on Hetalia)"
This girl is Singapore. She may seem hardworking, but...
Singapore: "... I'm too lazy to study anymore."

Sang Nila Utama: "Finally on land... Eh?"

Singapore was found by Sang Nila Utama and Malaya. At that time she was called Temasek. On the voyage, a great storm cam and in desperation [to save his ship] Sang Nila Utama threw his crown into the sea. The storm stopped then.
Upon landing, he saw a strange creature, identified as a lion. So he called Singapore "Lion City", or "Singapura" [in Sanskrit]. (Of course there's no lions in Singapore. It was probably a tiger.)
Malaya took her as his long-lost [or adopted; not confirmed] sister. Hence, when Netherlands invaded his vital regions, Singapore was invaded too. Luckily, Netherlands with his lolicon didn't rape Singapore or what for unknown reasons.

England: ... That @!^? Netherlands is stealing my trade with Asia! What the !@?# am I going to do without tea?!

So England sent an Austria look-alike called Raffles to help steal back trade.

Raffles: Let's go then.

Random Dude: Yes sir.

England could just attack Netherlands but he didn't want to since Holland could be raped while he escaped from France. Likewise, Holland was just invaded by France and could not afford to fight England. So they tried to find a solution. (Later, the Anglo-Dutch Treaty solved this.)

England: Stay away from me, bastard!

France: Then I shall just rape Holland first~

Netherlands: ... *pissed*

China loved Malay goods, Malays loved British goods and England loved China's tea. But China hated British stuff. So England got his tea by trading British for Malay for Chinese, but Holland kept getting Malaya to give stuff to him and not England. So England got pissed off.

Malaya: Boss told me to work with you!

Netherlands: Nice to meet you.

England: Hey!

England: ... Who are you?

Singapore: ?

So England made Singapore one of his colonies except he didn't realize Singapore was Netherlands'. And Netherlands got pissed off till he gave them Bencoolen. [A/n: Till England gave Netherlands Bencoolen.] (Refer to Anglo-Dutch Treaty yourself.)
Bencoolen was pretty though not as self-sufficient as Singapore, so Netherlands didn't really care anyway. Singapore quite liked England and did a lot of work for him, including saving his tea supply.

England: Don't run off like that!

Netherlands: Hands off! She's mine!

And so Singapore was with England in innocent bliss till Japan attacked her...

Fin.

I don't really like how I drew, though I thought it wasn't too bad when I drew the part where England ruffles Singapore's hair. It's kind of creepy how nice he treats her *shivers* Maybe because she's a very young girl who helps him a lot?

[Hetalia] Eden's Glimpse (One-shot)

A Fan-made Fanfiction

[A/n: The full title is really "You murdered Eden and you regretted it. You killed Eden and you paid for it" but it's long. Really long.]

A pristine girl, easily confused. While everyone argued, she settled her eyes on Kumajirou. Quietly she conversed with Kumajirou, the easiest one to speak to.

Canada was startled when an unknown girl, looking dazed, came over and began speaking with Kumajirou. Even more surprised he was when Kumajirou responded happily to her, she smiled and they began talking like best friends. "Uh. Who're you?" Canada figured the girl wouldn't see him.

The girl looked up at him from Kumajirou and blinked. "Me?" Canada was a little surprised that someone actually noticed him, but nodded. She blanked out so long that Canada wondered if her soul had left her.

"... I... Don't know."

Shel blinked as the conference finally ended. The girl stood out a lot. She had eyes with opaline colours, which admittedly was pretty abnormal. But it was quite pretty like that. Her hair shimmered in the sunlight, like rays of moonlight. She also had a chain locket around her neck, but no one could open the locket so no one cared.

Even though she was already there, no one could determine how she even entered, where she came or whether she was even a country. So she was given quite a bit of freedom, till it was found out which country she was. And if she wasn't a country... But such a girl, being a normal person?

You killed Eden and you liked it.

Somehow she got along with everyone. Her personality seemed to be able to suit everyone. Or maybe it was just the way she was. Like France's bouquet. When he offered them to her, she accepted it despite all the background noise yelling at her not to. But she didn't take it in the usual way. Instead, she had a puzzled look as she said, "The flowers are pretty, but why pluck them when they're still alive?" Which was actually a valid point that France took into consideration when offering his love.

Even England's scones, which were fairly toxic. When she ate them she choked them out, but afterwards she closed her eyes and smiled, almost saying to herself, "But the warmth of the person who made them almost made them sweet." England got a bit pissed off at being called "warm", although he was kind of pleased that someone kind of enjoyed his food.

As she spent more time with the other countries, they got used to her presence. Even trigger-happy Switzerland would let her off and his little sister Liechtenstein often invited her in. And where Japan was rather reserved, they spent time observing the sakura blooms. She didn't mind doing anything much, and didn't complain too much about any task set for her.

But no one knew her name. Not even she knew. Even when they tried to interrogate her, she didn't know anything. Even with the newest technology of lie-detectors, she couldn't tell them anything. Eventually they just came to calling her without a name, though how they did that, they could never really understand. It just seemed like she was always there when they needed her, giving no need to call her.

You killed Eden and you missed it.

One day, England was talking with his magical friends by himself again. Not like anyone else could see them for some reason. He was talking about the new girl, who was rather strange and unique, perhaps they would know about her? The angels, upon listening to the description, was becoming more and more surprised.

Suddenly, England realized the girl was staring at him. Shit, he thought, now she probably thinks I'm crazy like the rest of the world does. He was in for a surprise. The girl began dripping tears as she stood immobile. Without warning, she ran towards England, a smile on her face as she extended her hands out.

What the hell? England backed away fast, but it turned out she wasn't headed for him. As he watched in astonishment, she hugged one of the angels, although rather gently as not to damage the wings.

"Huh? You know each oth--Wait you can see them?" England began to feel kind of left out.

"Deus paradisum, lectus eris?" The angel ignored him, speaking in some unknown language to the girl. [1]

"Fortasse," she answered simply. [2] England didn't know what the hell they were speaking, and didn't give a shit anyway. the only thing he pricked his ears at was the word "paradisum" which sounded like "paradise", but it could always be another word anyway.

You killed Eden and you loved it.

One day, almost all the countries were slacking together in a room. For once, there was no chaos, no France being gay since he was off sick, everyone was at peace. Suddenly, a figure came running in through the open door. It was her.

She came to an abrupt halt, her hair swishing furiously as she dug her feet into the ground. Everyone looked at her curiously. This time, she was not the girl they knew. Her head was lowered as she took in laboured breaths and her body shook as she choked out words.

"Why..." It was so quiet that the slightest breeze swept it away. "Why... Why did you all?" Everyone looked at each other, confused. But her next statement, risen to a sobbing cry, froze everyone.

"Why did you all kill all those innocent people!"

They couldn't feign ignorance. This girl whom they had always been truthful with, they couldn't lie to her. They could only fidget helplessly as she began sobbing for real, tears rolling and falling to the ground.

No one chased after her as she turned and ran away. It was only when they saw the incoming car in front of her running, prone body, that they panicked. They shouted helplessly as the delicate figure met the car and was thrown like a flimsy doll. At the time that her body smashed into the solid ground, the locket that everyone had forgotten about broke open.

Russia was the first one to walk over, followed by China, Prussia and England. Even though they had seen thousands of people die, they had never seen an innocent girl die. China was the one who picked up the open, broken locket toread the message within: "A gift to my friend Eden, who must be one of the most beautiful ones ever. Your friend, God. (No wait, to heck with God, you can call me Yuuka.)"

Prussia stood by awkwardly as England gently lifted her body. She was very light, even lighter than a feather. Was that because she was dead, or had she always been like that? He stayed there for quite a while, not knowing what to do. Her hair trickled over his hand like soft cascading water.

You killed Eden and you lost it.

Everyone was haunted by her death. They had never known that paradise could be just like that. they had never known that there could be a paradise on earth even if they hated it. They had never known that paradise was just as simple as accepting everything and looking on their bright sides.

But now they'd never be able to gain that without her. She'd taught them and guided them onto that road to paradise, but she'd died and they lost their way without her. And they knew that her death was their fault, and it was their fault that an innocent child died. Maybe they didn't mind children dying, but once it was seen with their eyes it was impossible not to be haunted.

Gradually, over time, they began to hear voices. Voices that chanted, repeated endlessly.

"You killed Eden and you hated it. You killed Eden and you feared it."

"Stop it, stop it!" England became a child again, terrified and scared. He looked up and saw the faces of his magical friends, they chanted the same chant. He ran away, hid in an alley. "I didn't kill her... I didn't kill her..." he grabbed his head and laughed insanely, his voice wavering. When he looked up, he saw the face of Eden when she stared blankly, dead. He screamed and made a dash for it.

A thread of clothesline caught his neck and sliced through his trachea.

Everyone was driven insane in the end. They all saw the face of the dead, all saw the face of Eden, all saw the faces of them. No one knew what they were, but they were always there to leer at them, with malice in their voices.

"You killed Eden and you had it. You killed Eden and you hurt it."

It was always along those lines. Eventually, everyone met the same fate. England was first; he was the only one that saw Eden's true face when she was dead. Only the innocents still lived, but there were so few innocents. Everyone died in different ways. Whether sleeping pills or a noose, it was always suicide in the end. Even England's death, which seemed like an accident, also a suicide.

But with the relief on their faces when their bodies were found? Death was probably a blessing from Yuuka to them.

You murdered Eden and you regretted it. You murdered Eden and you paid for it.

Fin.

It's kind of strange to me, but I like the concept of Eden being a country. And it's true, Eden being Paradise is just based on how people accept others and look on the bright side. Also to do with not knowing anything else so that they won't be like, "Why isn't there hamburgers to eat?" -CoughAmericacough-
[1] I forgot, but it's supposed to be Latin for "Will you come back" or something.
[2] Latin for "Maybe".

[Hetalia] Singapore, the Lion City

A Fan-made Fanfiction

He gazed down at the lithe figure that looked up at him curiously. "Hey... Who're you?" The little girl blinked.

"The Island at the End."

A girl with black shoulder-length hair ran freely, stopping at the edge of the sea. Even though she had never been told, but she knew that if she stepped into the waters, she would easily be washed away into oblivion.

She lived alone, with only a lion as her friend. There was no one else living with her. Temasek was always spending her days freely roaming her lands, full of trees. I wonder if there's anyone else like me? she wondered, but those thoughts were soon distracted by the sighting of a butterfly, and her chasing after it.

One day, as she sat at the shore enjoying the feel of water on her feet with her lion friend, she saw something in the horizon. Quickly jumping to her feet, she squinted to see what it was. A strange thing like the shape of a pod that floated on water! She gasped. Would it kill her? Or did it just want to visit her island?

As she stood there frozen, the boat came to a stop where water met sand. The lion growled, and Temasek hushed it. Two men alighted from it. Though Temasek did not know it at that time, one of them was called Indonesia and the other was called Sang Nila Utama.

Indonesia knelt down and gently touched Temasek's face. She seemed a bit surprised and uncertain of what to do, but when Indonesia smiled at her innocent youth, she smiled back shyly.

They rechristened her as Singapura, the City of Lions. Her furry companion would have approved.

Fin.

We've only begun on Singapore's history, but I vaguely remember some parts which I learnt before. I was so proud during history when I absent-mindedly pointed at the map and read, "Prussia". So the teacher explained that Prussia was no longer there, and I replied, "I know, it was effectively abolished in 1947 since it kept being absorbed into Germany. The country there is now Germany."

I'm looking forward to writing about her time with England for some reason.

Prima Impiego

I'm not a very consistent blogger and I'm kind of upset about the website that I used. I'm following in Himaruya Hidekaz-san's format of blogging but the moment I finished making this blog I realized he uses LiveJournal. Which is a terrible pity, but I quite like everything so far here so I'm not giving up.

I hope to be able to upload the songs I've sung and the drawings that I've done. I am currently on the craze for drawing two-page long manga strips, which are kind of like a preview. Since my trial for this really good program that helps with my songs is over, I may not upload a lot of songs.

My friends christen me as Liechtenstein. Two of my friends are Switzerland and Sealand for some unknown reason, though I can understand why Sealand is Sealand. I have also been writing a Hetalia Fanfiction regarding Singapore, since I am Singapore and obviously want my country to be there. I heard that Himaruya-san abandoned Singapore's design, which is a very sad thing for my friends and I.

I guess I'll spam posts today and not write much after this, but here is the introductory post anyway.
